A Building Permit must be obtained before any building works are commenced on-site. Luckily we take care of this for you and try to make it as smooth and fast as possible.
Once we have received your Site Plan and have obtained all home owners signatures on relevant forms, our Shire Approval Officer will prepare your application and submit it to the your local Council along with Engineered Specifications. We also obtain approval from the Water Corporation.
The general time frame is approximately 5 weeks for your local Council to approve a Building Permit. This can vary depending on a number of influencing factors and can be out of our control.
Once our office receives a Builders Copy of the approved Permit, we will phone you and update you on the next process and let you know an installation week which is approximately 6 weeks after approval.
Our friendly staff with phone you and to confirm an installation date 3 weeks prior to starting any work and advise delivery details.
Please note the entire process from sign up to completion of your patio or carport installation can take at least 12 weeks
